Dr Victoria Meah

Dr Victoria Meah is a postdoctoral fellow at the Program for Pregnancy and Postpartum Health, University of Alberta, Canada. Her PhD research (completed at Cardiff Metropolitan University, UK) was focused on cardiovascular function in response to acute physiological challenges, such as aerobic exercise, during pregnancy and the postpartum period. As well as being an exercise specialist and active member of the International Working Group on Maternal Hemodynamics, Dr Meah has been involved in a series of eleven systematic reviews which will serve as the first evidence-based Clinical Guidelines for Exercise in Pregnancy (due to be released in CANADA Autumn 2018).
