Dr Carmel McEniery

Dr Carmel McEniery is a Senior Research Associate in the Division of Experimental Medicine and Immunotherapeutics, University of Cambridge, based at Addenbrooke’s Hospital. She is also a College Lecturer in Physiology at Churchill College. Her main area of research is cardiovascular haemodynamics and how these contribute to the development of hypertension in young adults. She also has a keen interest in vascular function and how this relates to hypertensive disorders of pregnancy, with ongoing collaborations both here in the UK and in Sub-Saharan Africa.
